Dana Huff

Dana Huff earned her BSEd in English Education from the University of Georgia in 1997. She is a high school English teacher. She has earned gifted education certification and taught students at all levels and grades in public middle and high schools. After six years in public education, Dana began her career in private schools, teaching English at all levels and as technology integration specialist, helping students and teachers integrate and use technology in their teaching and learning. She earned her MAEd in Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech in 2010 and her EdD in Curriculum, Teaching, Leadership, and Learning (dissertation focus: authentic assessment and grading) in 2021. Her professional interests include authentic assessment, backward design, instruction in writing and literacy, engaging readers, and professional development of educators.
