Explain Everything: Screencasting & Formative Assessment

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What happens when students, not just teachers, are engaged in the process of creating multimedia representations of their understanding? This session shares research on iPads, screencasting, and formative assessment. Then, it suggests and explores creative ways to use screencasting in a variety of classroom settings and disciplines. Many parts of this session will be ‘hands on.’ Technology is not required but may come in handy for some participants. Participants will leave with practical ideas for using screencasting in a variety of teaching and learning settings.
