We are pleased to announce the MassCUE and M.A.S.S. 2014 Annual Technology Conference, co-sponsored by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators (MassCUE) and the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). Both organizations recognize the benefits of a collaborative partnership that focuses on the collective interests of our school districts.  We will be providing educators from across the Commonwealth with exciting ways to enhance teaching and learning with technology.

Increasing the Bandwidth of Education - Stemlet

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The bandwidth of education is slow, indeed the bandwidth of conversation is slow. You can only say so many words per minute, and the information rate you can teach at is generally tailored to the median learning rate of the classroom. This workshop will show you how leverage multimedia, the interactive web, and mobile devices to increase the amount of information students can absorb per classroom hour. The workshop itself will be interactive. I'll show you how to take advantage of tools like Stemlet, that requires no downloads, to easily and safely let your students engage in real-time, "tactile learning".
