Using 3D Design and Printing in Your Elementary and Middle School Lessons - Makers Empire

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

3D printing has been cited by the NMC Horizon Report as one of the leading technologies poised to dominate STEM learning in K-12 classrooms. The price of 3D printing hardware continues to drop rapidly and the introduction of this hardware into schools seems inevitable – unfortunately there is a real risk that 3D printers never fulfil their learning potential and end up as ‘stranded tech’. In this session learn how 3D design and printing can be used in the elementary and middle school classroom for real, cross-curricula learning outcomes. This session is designed for classroom teachers, librarians, and curriculum and technology specialists.
